Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 large flour tortillas burrito size
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup diced onions
  • ½ cup sliced pickles
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise or burger sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Skillet or frying pan
  • Spatula
  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Mixing spoon
  • Tongs

Method

Cook the Ground Beef
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in diced onions if desired. Drain excess grease.
Warm the Tortillas
  1. Microwave tortillas for about 10–15 seconds to make them easier to fold.
Assemble the Wraps
  1. Place a tortilla on a flat surface. Add a layer of cooked ground beef in the center. Top with shredded cheese, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise.
Fold the Wraps
  1. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll tightly from the bottom like a burrito to seal the filling.
Air Fry the Wraps
  1. Lightly spray the wraps with cooking spray. Place them seam-side down in the air fryer basket.
  2. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
Slice and Serve
  1. Remove the wraps from the air fryer, allow them to rest for about 1 minute, then slice diagonally and serve hot.

Notes

  • Do not overfill the tortillas to prevent them from opening during cooking.
  • Large burrito-size tortillas work best because they hold the filling easily.
  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray the wraps with oil before air frying.
  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • Add toppings like bacon, jalapeños, or BBQ sauce for different flavor variations.
