Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for brushing
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese optional
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder optional

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly flour a work surface and roll out the pizza dough until about ¼-inch thick. Cut the dough into 8 equal squares or circles.
Add Sauce and Fillings
  1. Place a small spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each dough piece. Add shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
Fold and Seal
  1. Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket. Press the edges firmly together and seal them with a fork.
Prepare for Baking
  1. Place the pockets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with parmesan and garlic powder if desired.
Bake
  1. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the pizza pockets are golden brown and crispy.
Cool and Serve
  1. Let the pizza pockets cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or garlic butter for dipping.
