  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese or American cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk optional
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Prepare the Eggs
  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add milk (optional), salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
Cook the Scrambled Eggs

Prepare the Bread
  1. Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.

  1. Place one slice of bread butter-side down in a skillet. Add one slice of cheese, half of the scrambled eggs, another slice of cheese, then top with another slice of bread butter-side up.
Grill the Sandwich
  1. Cook over medium heat for about 3–4 minutes until the bottom bread becomes golden and crispy. Flip carefully and cook the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
