Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil optional
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 –4 tablespoons water to adjust consistency
  • 1 tablespoon tahini optional for extra creaminess
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Wash and roughly chop the parsley, cilantro, and basil.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add water gradually to reach your desired consistency.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, lemon juice, or garlic.
  6. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving (optional for best flavor).
