Watermelon Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups frozen watermelon chunks Seedless preferred
  • 1/2 cup water or coconut water Adjust for desired consistency
  • 1 lime juice Freshly squeezed is best
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener Honey or agave, optional

Method
 

  1. Place the frozen watermelon chunks, water or coconut water, lime juice, and optional sweetener into the blender.
  2. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  3. If the smoothie is too thick, add a small amount of extra liquid and blend again briefly.
  4. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For a colder smoothie, use only frozen watermelon. If you use fresh watermelon, you may need to add 1/2 cup of ice cubes to the blender.
